Shell/Motiva Exceeds Goal – Raises $6.7+ Million

Congratulations to Shell Oil Company and Motiva Enterprises for raising more than $6.7 million for United Way of Greater Houston. John Hofmeister, president, Shell Oil Company, and other company representatives announced the results at a celebration held at The Plaza Club on January 8.

Anna M. Babin, president and CEO of United Way of Greater Houston, and Mike Ballases, chairman of JPMorgan Chase-Houston and 2007-08 United Way community campaign chair, accepted a large check from Hofmeister, and Randy Braud, 2007-08 Shell/Motiva campaign chair. "We are so appreciative of the efforts, generosity and volunteerism shown by the employees and retirees of Shell and Motiva," said Babin.
